<p>En esta pequeña entrada, especificaremos las distintas definiciones de una configuración de los parámetros de red que nos vamos a encontrar siempre que nos dispongamos a editar los ajustes de conexión.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Tipos de configuración</h2>



<p>Siempre que vayamos a realizar la configuración de los parámetros de red, independientemente del sistema operativo que usemos, deberemos tener claro que una <a href="https://linuxbasico.com/configurar-tarjeta-red-ubuntu" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">tarjeta de red</a> se puede configurar de dos maneras.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Configuración estática y dinámica</h3>



<p>Cuando a un dispositivo se le asigna una dirección IP estática, la dirección no cambiará. Sin embargo, la mayoría de los dispositivos usan direcciones IP dinámicas, estas son asignadas por la red cuando los dispositivos se conectan. Por lo tanto la diferencia es evidente, en el caso de la configuración estática la dirección IP la define el usuario mientras que en la dinámica es asignada por la red la primera vez que el dispositivo se conecta.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Parámetros de red</h2>



<p>En ambos casos los parámetros de red a configurar serán los siguientes:</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Dirección IP</h3>



<p>La dirección IP, es una cadena de números que permite identificar al dispositivo entre otros dentro de una red. </p>



<p>Un ejemplo es:</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Máscara de red</h3>



<p>La máscara de red, definirá el tamaño de la red. También permita diferenciar entre la parte de una dirección IP que hace referencia a la subred y la parte que hace referencia al host.</p>



<p>Un ejemplo es:</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Gateway o puerta de enlace</h3>



<p>La puerta de enlace, en la mayoría de los casos será la dirección IP del router. Esta servirá para salir a internet.</p>



<p>Un ejemplo es:</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">DNS o domain name system</h3>



<p>Los DNS son servidores que se encargan de traducir direcciones IP a nombres que sean mas fáciles de recordar por los usuarios. Suelen especificarse dos, un principal y un secundario por si uno de los dos fallase. Unos de los DNS mas usados son Google y <a href="https://1.1.1.1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Cloudflare</a>.</p>



<p>Un ejemplo es:</p>

<p>Es posible que hayas visto las siglas TCP y UDP al configurar un enrutador, configurar el software de firewall o buscar en las funciones de VPN. Pero, ¿Cuáles son las diferencias? </p>



<p>Generalmente se conoce que <strong>UDP es más rápido que TCP</strong> y el argumento es totalmente válido. Sin embargo, hay algunos factores esenciales que hay que tener en cuenta al compararlo con TCP, no solo importa la velocidad. </p>



<p>Para saber cual la diferencia entre TCP y UDP, primero debes saber cuáles son sus características, ventajas y desventajas.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">TCP (Transmission Control Protocol)</h3>



<p>TCP es un protocolo orientado a la conexión que utilizan los dispositivos para comunicarse a través de Internet. Es uno de los principales protocolos en redes TCP/IP. </p>



<p>TCP proporciona verificación de errores, <strong>garantiza la entrega de datos</strong> y que los paquetes se entregarán en el orden en que fueron enviados.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">UDP (User Datagram Protocol)</h3>



<p>UDP es un protocolo sin conexión. Sin embargo, a diferencia de TCP, <strong>no garantiza la entrega de datos ni verifica los errores</strong>. UDP envía continuamente datos al destinatario sin comprobar que este los reciba.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Cuáles son las diferencias</h3>



<p>Las diferencias entre TCP y UDP son tantas como las similitudes. Son los protocolos más utilizados para enviar paquetes a través de Internet y trabajan en la capa de transporte (<a href="https://openwebinars.net/blog/que-es-tcpip/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">modelo TCP/IP</a>) y ambos utilizan el protocolo IP.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Conexión</h3>



<p>TCP es un protocolo orientado a la conexión mientras que UDP no utiliza conexión. TCP establece una conexión entre un remitente y un receptor antes de que se puedan enviar los datos. UDP en cambio, no establece ninguna conexión antes de enviar los datos.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Fiabilidad</h3>



<p>TCP es confiable ya que garantiza que los datos enviados mediante el protocolo TCP se entreguen al receptor. Si los datos se pierden en el camino, los recuperará y los reenviará. TCP también verifica los paquetes en busca de errores y los rastrea para que los datos no se pierdan ni se corrompan.</p>



<p>En cambio, UDP no es confiable. Este no garantiza la entrega de los paquetes y los paquetes pueden corromperse o perderse en tránsito.<br></p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Control de flujo</h3>



<p>TCP utiliza un mecanismo de control de flujo que garantiza que el remitente no sature al receptor enviando demasiados paquetes a la vez.</p>



<p>Este, almacena los datos en un búfer de envío y los recibe en un búfer de recepción.</p>



<p>Cuando la aplicación está lista, lee los datos del búfer de recepción. Si el búfer de recepción está lleno, el receptor no puede manejar más datos y los elimina.</p>



<p>Cada vez que el receptor recibe un paquete,  envía un mensaje al remitente.</p>



<p>UDP, no proporciona control de flujo. Con UDP, los paquetes llegan de forma continua o se descartan.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Ordenación</h3>



<p>TCP ordena los paquetes para garantizar que se entreguen al cliente en el mismo orden en que se enviaron. En cambio, UDP envía los paquetes sin importar el orden.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Velocidad</h3>



<p>Otra diferencia entre TCP y UDP, es que TCP es más lento, porque hace mucho mas que enviar datos. TCP establece una conexión, verifica los errores y garantiza que los archivos se reciban en el orden en que fueron enviados tal y como hemos comentado anteriormente.</p>



<p>Por lo tanto la velocidad es uno de los aspectos en los que destaca UDP.&nbsp;</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Uso</h3>



<p>TCP es el protocolo más adecuado para usarse en aplicaciones que requieren una alta confiabilidad.</p>

<p>DHCP Ubuntu (<a href="https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protocolo_de_configuraci%C3%B3n_din%C3%A1mica_de_host">Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol</a>), es la configuración dinámica usada para establecer los usuarios dentro de una red, donde automáticamente se le agregan su IP, DNS, Mascara, Gateway a un host por ejemplo, para poder crear una red en que los host (usuarios) se comuniquen entre ellos.</p>

<ol class="wp-block-list"><li>Primero DHCP Discover: El cliente manda un <strong>Broadcast </strong>al servidor <strong>DHCP</strong> pidiéndole la configuración de la red.</li><li>Segundo DHCP Offer: El servidor le responde usando un <strong>Unicast</strong>, ofreciéndole el rango de IP que puede darle con la configuración de la red.</li><li>Ultimo DHCP Request: El cliente le responde con la IP que quiere obtener del <strong>DHCP </strong>y su configuración.</li></ol>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Modo de funcionamiento/ método de reparto de configuraciones</h3>



<p>Después de haber configurado el servidor, procederemos a configurar nuestro rango de IP, DNS, Gateway y mascara.</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Documentos que usaremos:</h4>



<p>/etc/dhcp/dhcpclient.conf -&gt; Configuración del cliente.</p>



<p>/etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf -&gt; Configuración del servidor.</p>



<p>/etc/init.d/isc-dhcp-server -&gt; Para iniciar y detener el proceso del servidor.</p>



<p>/etc/default/isc-dhcp-server -&gt; Para configurar las interfaces de la red.</p>



<p>/var/liv/dhcp/dhcpd.leases -&gt; Información de los procesos del servidor.</p>



<p>/usr/sbin/dhcpd -&gt; Es un demonio que se encarga de escuchar las solicitudes de los clientes&nbsp;<strong>DHCP</strong>.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Instalar los servicios</h3>



<p>Como primer paso empezaremos instalando los servicios <strong>DHCP</strong> <strong>Ubuntu</strong> al <a href="https://linuxbasico.com/como-instalar-un-servidor-pacs/">servidor</a>.</p>

<p>Ahora nos moveremos a la carpeta /etc/dhcp y usaremos el editor de texto nano o gedit para editar la configuración del servidor.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Configuración DHCP Ubuntu Server</h3>



<p>En este documento procederemos a configurar los valores de nuestro servidor. Por defecto las líneas de configuración estarán comentadas con # pero solo con borrar los comentarios podremos proceder a configurarlos.</p>



<p>En mi caso definiré la red en 172.19.0.0 con una mascara 255.255.0.0 y que el servidor asigne unas IP en el rango de 172.19.1.10 al 172.19.1.100 y luego añadiremos la configuración restante como DNS, Broadcast, entre otros.</p>

<p>Ahora iremos a la carpeta /etc/netplan para poder cambiar la configuración de la red del servidor en mi caso le asignare la IP 172.19.1.1 con mascara /16 (255.255.0.0), con el Gateway 172.19.1.2 y con los DNS 8.8.8.8 eta 8.8.4.4 (Dominios de Google).</p>

<p>Antes de confirmar el cambio de la configuración de la red del servidor, procederemos a testear para que no tenga algún fallo en la configuración usando el comando que aparece a continuación.</p>

<p>Cuando nos informe que la configuración es correcta, procederemos a aplicar la configuración en el servidor.</p>

<p>Ahora tendremos que reiniciar el servicio y para ver si se ha realizado correctamente, usaremos el comando de verificación del estado del proceso.</p>

<p>Después nos moveremos a la carpeta /etc/default/  y editaremos el archivo isc-dhcp-server para definir la interfaz del <strong>DHCP</strong>.</p>

<p>Añadiremos en la sección V4 la interfaz de nuestro servidor, si no sabes como se llama usa el comando [ <em>ip a</em> ] o [<em>ifconfig</em>] para consultarlo.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Prueba de DHCP Ubuntu en el cliente</h3>



<p>En nuestro cliente solo tendremos que hacer una nueva petición de IP por medio de <strong>DHCP </strong>usando el comando <code>dhclient -r </code>para desactivar la búsqueda y el comando <code>dhclient </code>para reanudarlo.</p>
